Introduction.

Hello potential readers!

My name's Kristina and if you read the 'about me' on this page then you know I'm 22, from Australia and am a Novice when it comes to really... anything in life.

Now we've established that, we can now move on to where I'm at in life at this present time.

First things first, I'm a christian - not just in the present but have been a follower of christ since the age of 9, and I'd love to be able to share about my faith walk in this blog as well as just general life stuff.

I'm a student, and again - if you've read the 'about me' section you know I may be about to start my 5th uni course since graduating high school. I guess you could say I'm in 'limbo' at the moment in my studies; I have one year left of my Bachelor of Education - Early Years, but have deferred for 12 months to give a year to bible college. So this year I am studying my Diploma of Ministry via distance with some friends from church; I have to say I'm a bit nervous about studying distance as I've had both good and bad experiences with it, but!!! I have God and friends to help me through.

I live with my Mum in a tiny little house on an acre and a half with 5 dogs, 1 cat, 8 chickens, 2 ducks , and 2 shetland ponies. So.. we have an almost farm haha, Mum calls it the menagerie. Dad and Mum separated when I was 8, it never really bothered me as now I get two presents for christmas and birthday! But actually I am a very lucky kid when it comes to my parents being separated, we still have christmas, birthday etc. when it comes to celebrations and things as my parents still remained friends. Dad lives close by and I get to see him all the time, I call him my bestie. I also have a brother he plays guitar, and likes computer games and cars, like most brothers hey; but the difference is he is 18 years older than me. Most people ask me if I actually liked having a brother that is so much older than me, I Love it! he is the coolest older brother, he was always so great when I was growing up when he'd look after me, pick me up in his cool car from school or let me watch him play his computer games (when I was too young to know what makeup was and when youtube wasn't a thing - am I right?); and now is just generally fun to hang around.

I also have an amazing man of a boyfriend, he's a year and a half older than me and we've been dating "officially" for around a year and a half now. Now, can I be really gushy for a second; he is a dreaaaam, he loves me, looks after me, leads me to Jesus when I need it, calls me beautiful every day and is altogether amazing.

Another thing, the biggest YouTube binger, makeup hoarding gal you'll ever meet. I love addictive TV shows (such as Pretty Little Liars, I CANNOT WAIT FOR IT TO START AGAIN TO FINALLY FIND OUT WHO 'AD' IS!), a bit of crafty things, and generally anything your average 22yr old female is into.

Lastly, the reason I chose to start this blog is to share my heart about the things going on in and around my life whether they are simple or not, hence the title 'heart of a novice'. So, I hope you enjoy my regular updates of whats going on in my life; whether I'm starting something new that turns my life upside down yet again, or just starting a new TV show.
