Hello lovelies!! It has been way waaay too long since we've talked, I'm a terrible blogger!!!
I think (I know) I underestimated my skills to manage uni and posting three times a week so I kiiinda let go of it all! hahaha #classsicme
but I am back for now and am going to try to post at least twice a week...
So I thought as a come back post I would show you guys a few photos of what I have been up to since we last spoke (in MARCH omg!).
OMG! for the month of march a local organic store near me (literally 5 mins down the road) were selling Acai Bowls in their cafe for $6!! so soo cheap and they had the best granola on them as well. I went there so many times hahaha I have an actual obsession with Acai Bowls, please tell me you do too!?
This was the funnest/funniest night!! My boyfriend and I both run what's called a 'connect group' in our church - he runs a guys one and I run a girls one; they are where a group of people gather together and talk about life, faith and have fun times together. One night in march we had a combined connect, and this photo is of one of my best friends Bella. We went to go pick up pizza for like 30+ people and this was the result hahaha. When we got to the car she had one pile and I had the other and she's like "pile them up!" and made me pile all of the pizzas on her lap. I couldn't count the amount of times pizza nearly went everywhere on the drive back.
In April, Tom and I went up to the hinterland near where we live and tried to have a picnic but got rained out. So we went to one of the lovely little cafes up there, had tea and read our books. I recently got an IPhone 7+ and the portrait feature on the camera is amazeballs! So hence the quality of this picture.
My cousin and her family came over around Easter time and we had so much fun with them for the week, going on river cruises, out to lunch and on their last day the Zoo! Above is a gallery of a few snaps from the day.
The weekend of Easter, Tom and I celebrated two years since our first date! I always get so giddy around that time of year because I can still remember exactly what happened and on what days everything happened, it's just a really exciting time of year for me. We went to dinner at one of our favourite restaurants (again in the hinterland), that has the best and biggest meals of all time. It was so lovely just to have a night alone talking about old memories and be real gushy and stuff ya know! haha.
Our Young Adults from church went to a big conference in the city towards the end of April. They had Ps Chad Veach from America speaking (He's friends with JB and the Kardashians!!), he walked past me when I was up the front in praise and worship and I definitely fan girl'd on the inside (can you fan girl a pastor?! hahaha I think its just cus he's friends with my favourite celebrities, lol I'm such a loser). Apart from that it was an incredible weekend and I definitely soaked in so much wisdom and had so much fun with my friends!!
Lastly, I have been obseeeeeessed with the show Riverdale on Netflix! Me and my friends have been going mad about finding out who killed Jason Blossom recently. In my opinion I loved the last episode where we found out the killer, the did it so well. Since I have been loving the show so much and have the biggest girl crush on Cheryl Blossom, I chose to try a 'Cheryl Blossom inspired makeup look'. How does she pull off the red lip with such pale skin!? Someone tell me!?! hahaha.
